Some
of my interests
The
battle against Spyware
As you might have noticed my main
interest is about computering in general, mostly issues about security,
spyware and
virus removal, protection and related software. Most of my homepage
will have issues related to this interest, here I will only mention one
of my passions. A lot of my sparetime I spend in my engagement to a
danish
spywarefighting team called TeamSpywarefri. I administrate and develope
the forum in wich thousands of people have recived help getting rid of
infections or advise about protection. The team started in 2003 with 4
members, today we are 15 supporters, and more than 13.000 members. The
forum and the communication is in danish, but a lot of visitors comes
from other countries because of the use of a tool called Hijackthis.
The
logfiles from Hijackthis are international and it's possible to guess
which files have to be removed after a specific infection.
You can visit the website
here and the forum
here. Later I will write an article about the team and our work.
Philosophy and literature
I like to read and use my daily transport
time from home
to my work with a book, about ½ hour each way. At the moment
I
read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
by Robert M. Pirsig
for the 3. time. This story is one of the best books ever written, you
should read it. My next book will be Platons book Faidros, a dialog
between Sokrates and Faidros about wisdom, love and "the proper speak",
the importance of choosing the right words in a dialog. Beside
philosophy I like to read psychology and about social studies in
general. I also read some fiction, mostly detective storys and
thrillers. Some of my favourite writers are: Fritjof Capra, Robert M
Pirzig, Arthur Janov, Florinda Donner, Tor Nørretranders and
many more.
Music and Movies
Both are very important in my life, I couldn't imagine a world without
music and nice movies. I prefere to watch movies in the cinema, but I
have to admit that video have made my visits more seldom in the local
cinema. There's so much good music and I listen to most of the
different genres, but just to mention a few bands this would be: Pink
Floyd, Led Zeppelin, David
Bowie, Suede, Sandmen and The
Corrs. The genre I listen most would be plain Rock...
When it comes to movies it will too be very difficult to mention the
absolute best, but these movies are all "Must see" and most them I have
seen several times: The Cube 1 and 2, X-men
1 and 2, The Cider house rules, The
Dreamers, Se7en, Matrix
1, 2 and 3, Moulin Rouge and ofcause the Starwars
1-6.
I tried to make a list of actors, and for some reason the top 3 are all
women, intelligent and goodlooking, I wonder why? :-) Well here they
are; Nicole Kidman for her roles in
Moulin Rouge, The Others and Panic Room. Juliette
Lewis for her roles in Natural Born Killers, Romeo is
Bleeding and From Dusk till Dawn. Natalie
portmann for her roles in Leon and as Padmé in the
Starwars movies.
If I get the time I will write a bit about my traveling and my time at
the danish "Højskole", until now you'll have to do with this
profile. If you have any questions feel free to ask, my emailadress I
wrote earlier on this page. Keep cool out there,
take care of the buggy bytes harasing the Internet......
